Diablo 4 Item Upgrades
Items upgrades are upgrade elements that can be added to armors, weapons and trinkets to earn a bonus. They usually have an increased cost and require the item to be at an appropriate level.

Glyphs are an essential component to this process. Glyphs' stat attributes and affect radius on the Paragon Board are boosted by increasing their upgrade level. There are a variety of ways to acquire these upgrades, but the majority of players will rely on the most common method: raiding Faction Crypts.
Glyphs allows you to add symbols to your text. You can select them from the menu at the left of the screen. It displays glyphs initially in the font in which your cursor is however, you can also view a different font or type style, and reduce the number of glyphs to a smaller subset by selecting one of the options below Entire Font (for instance Punctuation shows only punctuation symbols). The Glyphs Panel will keep track of your last 35 glyphs and display them under Recently Used in the first row (you have to expand the panel so you can see all 35). You can also remove them from this list by right-clicking or Control-clicking on a glyph in the list and selecting Remove from Recent Glyphs.
Another advantage of the Glyphs panel is the ability to create and modify a custom glyph set, which is useful when you must write certain types of text frequently. This will help you save the hassle of manually inserting each glyph when you need it.
A custom glyph can have a maximum of 30 glyphs. This includes both the base name as well as its suffix. The base name must include uppercase English alphabetic letters (A-Z) as well as lowercase English alphabetic letters (a-z), European numbers (0-9), underscore (_) and other glyphs. The glyphs of the suffix could contain ligatures or contextual alternative, which are special variants that combine two or more characters into one visually unifying symbol.
Reroll Tokens
Upgrades are the primary mechanics that provide extra bonuses to items, including stats. Upgrades are available in three different types: rerolling, leveling up and recycling. Each type offers a different set of extra bonuses to an item.

Selecting a franchise card from the Blueprint Desk will allow you to obtain certain equipment or ingredients needed for certain recipes. Recycled Items

Additionally, purchasing recycled products help keep local businesses and jobs alive, especially those that specialize in the production of goods made from recycled materials. Demand for recycled products encourages businesses to participate in this eco-friendly effort.
The final reason to purchase recycled items is that it requires less energy to produce new products using recycled material than to create them from raw materials. This is due to the manufacturing process of creating a new aluminum can takes 95 percent more energy than production of an identical aluminum can from recycled material. Leveling
The majority of units can be leveled up which grants them additional XP every time they attack or are attacked. This is used to boost their primary stat, or unlock other upgrades in the unit's tree.
